Having both insomnia and an annoyingly inquisitive mind, I often come across interesting things on the internet (click here, here, or here if you’re curious; don’t worry — it’s not porn). It turns out, for anything you could possibly wonder about when you’re wide awake at 2 a.m. there’s someone who has put that very thing on the internet. Literally, anything you can think about, it’s already floating around out there in cyberspace. So it came as no surprise to me when I discovered a trove of To Catch A Predator videos on YouTube along with a following of devoted fans.

I mean they’re fans of the show.

Not the predators.

In 2004, Dateline NBC started running a segment about adults who used online chat rooms to groom and solicit illegal relationships with children called To Catch A Predator, and it quickly became a hit.
