How to Make $4.07 From Writing in Just One Month

First, it’s important that you don’t try to publish on more than one site. The idea here is to avoid rejection. This limits your exposure and visibility, so that way if you do fail and embarrass yourself, it will only be in front of a select group of people.

Secondly, don’t write every day. Up to several days out of the month should be reserved for light self-loathing and general questioning of yourself about whether you actually have what it takes to be who you want to be and do the things you want to do, and at least one day set aside for a full blown panic attack. Hmm. Better make it two.

Heck, don’t even write every week. You have more important things to focus on. Perhaps you have a mundane, full time job. Maybe there is a pile of laundry you’ve been thinking about washing for some time. Or it could be that you have children who need food and love and affection and education and stimulation and — oof, they’ve needed washing for some time too, it seems. Best get them in the tub now.
